The 7 most interesting architecture photographers on Instagram

4 min read

By photographing architecture, buildings are made tangible in a visual way, presented to the viewer in an unadulterated manner, soberly documented or excitingly staged. A feeling for the right light, the right perspective and the right angle is essential - because this is the only way concrete, steel and glass can show their full potential. A large community has already developed on Instagram that handles this task with great care and sensitivity. Both professional and hobby architectural photographers present their work on social media and thus take a refreshing look at the buildings that surround us.

Zooey Braun

After Zooey Braun took on an assistant job as a photographer, it quickly became clear to him which profession he would like to pursue later. In the beginning he mainly photographed people until he happened to meet the architectural photographer Dieter Leistner and later Jörg Hempel. His passion for architecture was sparked. His pictures: calm and balanced, a little melancholic and yet captivating.
