Individual and unique: Lighting solutions by TRILUX

3 min read

Unique, different and perfectly tailored to special requirements - people like things to be individual, because personal wishes as well as needs and demands are often very different. Especially when it comes to architecture and design, the demand for special solutions is high, because every building as well as every room has different requirements and has to fulfill different functions. In addition, individual designs emphasize one's own identity and uniqueness. This also applies to the appropriate lighting solution, because a perfectly coordinated lighting concept can create special moods or create environments that are literally illuminating.

Expert for uniqueness

TRILUX specifically addresses special requests in the planning process together with the respective architect and then skilfully implements them. Whether special paintwork, the company logo on the cover or completely new developments - TRILUX makes many things possible! For even more individuality, the luminaire manufacturer realises technically and creatively unique solutions for ambitious and sophisticated architectural projects in its own manufacture - and that already from a quantity of one.

These are used, for example, in an interdisciplinary research facility on the DESY campus in Hamburg by Heinle, Wischer und Partner: here, huge rings of light float in the foyer, giving the building its unique identity. In the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, large-scale luminous ceiling panels with integrated star luminaires create a very special ambience, while on Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, an iconic mast and cable pendant luminaire with a translucent cover will cause a stir like nowhere else.

Shining tree of light for the German Football Association

For the German Football Association, TRILUX created a unique light installation together with the lighting design office Kardorff Ingenieure, which is located on the 230 m long inner boulevard of the new DFB Academy by kadawittfeldarchitektur in Frankfurt am Main. The luminaire's design focuses on the theme of "sport" and its different colours indicate the diversity in the sports sector. In addition, the lighting solution - contrary to what was thought - is not based on the sport of football, but on pole vaulting.

This special shape, which opens up towards the ceiling, was developed in a 3D design process. In order to address not only the technical but also the natural, inspiration was drawn from the organic appearance of shield bulbs. The result is an extraordinary and individual lighting element that is unparalleled due to its special shape and gives the DFB Academy an identity.
