Furthermore, wood is very versatile and can be optimally combined with different materials and surfaces - and not only in the living and dining area, but also in the bathroom. For this reason, KEUCO developed its EDITION LIGNATUR with the natural wood furniture specialist Team 7, which reflects the fascination and love of the raw material wood in the unique pieces of furniture in a modern and enduring way. Each piece of bathroom furniture is unique and is individually manufactured from high-quality materials.
Architect Werner Sübai (HPP Architekten Düsseldorf) also recognised the advantages and special aesthetics of this unique KEUCO EDITION and equipped the bathrooms of his historic home in Mettmann with EDITION LIGNATUR. The building with a glazed front and green shutters was built around 1800. The aim of the elaborate renovation was to preserve the historical character of the old building and combine it with modern elements, which was successful in many respects. In the impressive rooms, wood dominates in all areas - be it as beams on the ceilings or as natural flooring - which, together with various design objects and light-coloured furniture, creates a cosy atmosphere.
This design approach is also continued in the bathrooms, which have become places of well-being thanks to the EDITION LIGNATUR and other KEUCO products. The solid wood bathroom furniture made of light oak forms a harmonious unit with the wooden floor and at the same time offers maximum comfort. The EDITION LIGNATUR illuminated mirror brightens up the washbasin and, thanks to sophisticated technology, provides a fog-free view even after showering. This overall picture is complemented by the slender fittings and accessories of EDITION 400 and, in the shower, by unobtrusive IXMO fittings. These combine innovative technology with minimalist design in a unique way and blend skilfully into the overall ambience of this extraordinary home.
