Modern ambience and homely atmosphere on the comfort ward with KEUCO

With 20 single rooms and three double rooms, the new comfort ward offers a feel-good atmosphere for 26 patients. From the cozy loggias of the rooms and from the roof terrace of the comfort ward - with lounge sofa and beach chair - there is a great panoramic view of Göttingen.
All rooms are tastefully furnished and have particularly well-equipped bathrooms that combine a modern ambience with a homely atmosphere. The barrier-free bathrooms are equipped with fittings, accessories and cosmetic mirrors from KEUCO and offer patients convenience and stylish design.
The spacious bathrooms are designed in warm natural tones to match the color scheme of the adjoining rooms. Two different KEUCO fittings can be found in the bathrooms: all in polished chrome or matt black. The chrome surfaces and matt black surfaces contrast beautifully with the sand-colored tiles, creating an accentuated and stylish ambience.
The IXMO FLAT single-lever basin mixer, PLAN hairdryer, iLook_move vanity mirror and PLAN CARE disinfectant dispenser create a harmonious look at the washbasin with its generous shelf space. In the bathroom with the black matt finish, PLAN towel hooks complete the ensemble.
In the barrier-free wet area, patients shower with the innovative IXMO thermostatic mixer, which combines several functions in a very small space. Hand and overhead showers provide optimum showering comfort. The AXESS railing system and grab rails offer safety in the shower and help patients to stand up if they are showering in a seated position. The PLAN shower basket for the necessary care products in the bathroom with chrome fittings can also be reached perfectly from a seated position. In the black matt bathroom ambience, care products for showering find their place in a wall niche.
Attention has also been paid to patient comfort and safety around the toilet. The PLAN toilet roll holder and grab rail are positioned at the optimum height. For patients with disabilities, the elegant KEUCO AXESS folding support handles, designed by Studio F. A. Porsche, on the toilet support their independence.
The special feature: When folded up, the visually appealing AXESS folding support handle stands completely flat against the wall and is barely recognizable as a folding support handle. Even when folded down, it is a beautiful and elegant solution.
In addition to their timeless and elegant design, all KEUCO products are characterized by their easy-to-clean properties with clear contours and straight lines. The exceptionally spacious and modern bathrooms in the comfort ward at Göttingen-Weende hospital show how safety and comfort can be designed to be visually appealing.
