As a visionary, theorist and artist, his buildings had a lasting impact on the architecture of the 20th century - some of them have even been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2016. The exhibition sheds light on his unique working process and shows how Le Corbusier skillfully combined art, design and architecture. His goal: functional and aesthetic architecture that improves people's quality of life. In addition to iconic exhibits, previously largely unknown groups of works are also on display.
In addition, the exhibition is organized both thematically and chronologically and divided into three axes: Art, Architecture and Research. Numerous wall and object texts place Le Corbusier's work in its historical context and shed light on his career.
