Colors are omnipresent and have a strong influence on our perception, our feelings and our emotions. This is why they also play an important role in architecture and design. While blue tones have a calming effect and spread harmony, red tones radiate energy and activity. For the "Colour Rush!" exhibition, designer Sabine Marcelis has accurately sorted around 400 objects from the collection according to color, allowing visitors to view the collection from a completely new perspective and physically experience the meaning of color. The objects are presented in front of colored, translucent backgrounds that create color gradients - an impressive experience and a tribute to the importance of color in design across all eras.
